Lodge of Instruction

The Lodge of Instruction, LoI, meets on an informal basis, at the School, in the weeks preceding a Lodge meeting. The various rituals are rehearsed ensuring that at the ‘actual’ meeting the officers feel confident and well rehearsed.

Less experienced brethren are given the opportunity to practice any of the offices at the earlier Lodge of Instructions. The officers of the regular Lodge occupy the positions they either currently hold or expect to fill next year, as the ‘actual’ meeting approaches.

The Lodge of Instruction is the key to guaranteeing a good meeting, of which the members can be proud, and in maintain the high standards of ritual within the Lodge.
